Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo has been a model, actress as well as a film maker in America. In addition to her graceful elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry proves her skills as a performer. In the 1970s, she began her modeling career, and soon established herself as one of the top names in this field. She studied acting and theatre at the start of the decade. She then appeared on stages throughout Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo was first seen on screen in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the character of Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut film. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities in the field of acting, public was enticed by her consistency. The performance she gave in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was particularly admired by the critics as she could not be compared to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. In her own words, she was never a fanatic in acting. In 2005, she was to a break, which was forced by herself. In the film Thor it was her return to acting. Additionally, she was a part-star in Nightcrawler - her husband's Oscar Award-winning film. The Intern was her first humorous comedy. She went on to appear in Just Getting Started and other comedy films.

Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's top female athletes. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete, performing various regional competitions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes within and outside of the Octagon, Namajunas has become an everyday word ever since her joining the UFC. Namajunas was born June 29th 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball throughout her childhood. Invicta Fighting Championships were her debut professional bout. She was just 18 and had already won two bouts via submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at age 22, she signed her to fight as a strawweight in the UFC. The career of Rose has been full of highs as well as lows but she's always capable of coming out of her fights with a win. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout within less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only got the title, but also was awarded Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA history with this match since she was the first woman to challenge for a champion title in any major organization. Namajunas was able to win a few other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, earning her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
