Elizabeth Reaser is an American TV, film and theater actor, best known for her performances in movies like The Twilight Saga and series such as Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Jessica was always interested with the film and television industry. When she was a model in her early years, Jessica started her career. Her discovery as an actress after an Australian casting director approached models for auditions. She was chosen to play "Kiki," the main character in the film Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. In the following years, she's had minor roles in movies like Peter Pan and Aquamarine. The actress played Cleopatra in the second season of the Netflix original series Roman Empire. Additionally, she was a part-star in the Pirates of the Caribbean classic film Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica was selected for The Outpost's lead role, Talon. The producers requested a video of Jessica performing and MMA. They were curious if she could do sword-fighting in the following day, so she sent a video of her sword-fighting. After reading the script, Jessica realized that her role required weapons instruction as well as a first lesson with a trained professional. According to Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was astonished by how well she performed in her first class. Jessica's first time in the United States for a major film role, since her previous roles were made in Australia. The role capitalizes on her passion for action by utilizing her mixed martial arts, horse riding weapons, as well as athletic skills that allow her to pull off her actions and fully embody the strong female character. She was trained in mixed martial arts, boxing, and muay Thai at an Australia-based gym. On set, filming Season 4, Jake Stormoen met a stray dog that was roaming the scene. The pet was part of an entire litter of puppies which were living in the film set. Jessica was the foster mom to two pups.
